This Privacy Policy explains how GINKGO PRO LTD, trading as GO CONSTRUCTION ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our construction scheduling and team management platform (the "Service"). We are the data controller for your personal data and are responsible for handling it in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Account details – name, email address, password (stored securely) and role information when you register or are invited.
  • Company and project data – company name, address, contact details, project information, phase and scheduling data you create.
  • Messages – content of messages and notes shared between users within the Service.
  • Uploaded files and photos – documents, drawings and site photos you upload to the Service.
  • Device and usage data – device type, browser, IP address and how you interact with the Service.
  • Push notification tokens – identifiers used to deliver push notifications to your devices.

  • Providing and managing your account and access to the Service (performance of a contract).
  • Delivering scheduling, project management and team communication features (performance of a contract).
  • Sending you notifications, updates and support communications (legitimate interests).

  • Aggregated usage analytics to improve the Service (legitimate interests, anonymised where possible).

Hosting and processing

The Service is built and hosted on the Base44 platform. Base44 acts as our processor and provides infrastructure, authentication, data storage and related services. Your data is stored and processed in line with our instructions and Base44's data processing arrangements.

Sharing your data

We may share your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Within your own company – other users in your organisation can see data relevant to the projects and teams you belong to.
  • Suppliers you invite – suppliers and subcontractors you invite to quote or work on a project receive the information you choose to share with them.
  • Service providers – trusted providers that help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting, email, notifications), acting as processors under appropriate agreements.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Your data may be processed outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and ensure a level of protection consistent with the UK GDPR.

Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting or operational requirements, then delete or anonymise it.
